Be Relentless in 2019!

Hey, y’all!    I have been horribly neglectful of blogging this year.    The year 2018 is ending; and it has not been without challenges.   However, challenges were accepted and conquered!    We persevered and endured.   God has been FAITHFUL!                   I began this year with the word “intentional” as my theme for 2018.   I’m sure I failed at times this year, but I do feel like I accomplished being intentional in several areas of my life.   One of my greatest accomplishments of the year was joining a friend in reading through the entire Bible in 90 days!    It was a lot to absorb, but it was my very first time finishing the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation, without losing momentum.    Having a friend keeping me accountable was a tremendous help!    In finishing our 90 day challenge, we decided to break it down ...

Blessed Beyond Measure

Hey, y'all!   I am constantly saying that I am blessed beyond measure, and I truly am!   I have an amazing story to share, and I hope you find it as exciting as I do!        On July 28, 2017, I received a message through Facebook from a lady that works with ancestryDNA.  She informed me that she was assisting someone search for their birth father.   The matches lead her to my Knight/Wiggins line with matches on both sides.  She said that Kim was born about 1969 in Vietnam to a Vietnamese mother and an American soldier.  She asked if I knew any Vietnam Vets that might fit the circumstances.   I told her I was unsure if any of my uncles were over there, but I knew my dad served in Vietnam.   I agreed to take a DNA test to find out if our DNA had matches.       As soon as I returned from my mission trip last month, I mailed my DNA to ancestry.com.   During the waiting time, I got connecte...
